Residents Complete Hospice Training

Seven area residents recently completed Hospice of Chesterfield County’s volunteer training program.  The 15-hour course was held July 12 – 20 at Hospice of Chesterfield County’s office in Chesterfield.     Those completing the course include: Bonnie Jean Black and Carolyn F. Russell of Cheraw, Tammy Griffin of Chesterfield, Alice Hunter of Pageland, Joe Martin McDaniel of Patrick, Verlinda J. Bass of Bennettsville and Alice V. Z. We Honor Veterans

It may surprise many people to learn that 25% of those who die every year in the U.S. are Veterans. To help provide care and support that reflect the important contributions made by these men and women, Hospice of Chesterfield County has become a national partner of We Honor Veterans, a pioneering campaign developed by National Hospice and Palliative Care Organization in collaboration with the Department of Veterans Affairs.
