Hospice Yard Signs
To help increase awareness of its services, Hospice of Chesterfield County is asking friends and supporters to display hospice yard signs during the month of November (National Hospice Month). Those who received their signs previously are encouraged to once again place them on their lawns.
Anyone needing signs may pick them up at the hospice office at 700 W. Blvd. in Chesterfield. The signs are free.
Hospice Sabbath Planned for Nov 4-6
As you attend your place of worship the weekend of November 4 - 6, 2016 you may see a single white carnation displayed in a prominent location. Hospice of Chesterfield County has chosen the white carnation as a symbol for the observance of Hospice Sabbath, a time when Hospice acknowledges its special relationship with the religious community. Churches are being asked to participate by displaying a white carnation in memory of all who have received Hospice services.

Hospice of Chesterfield County Sponsoring County Christmas Parade
Hospice of Chesterfield County is pleased to coordinate and sponsor the 27th Annual Chesterfield County Christmas Parade. The parade is co-sponsored by the Greater Chesterfield Chamber of Commerce. The parade will be held Saturday, Dec. 3, at 6 PM on Main Street in downtown Chesterfield.
Churches, civic groups, businesses and schools are encouraged to enter “homemade” floats with lighting being encouraged. Best float prizes will be awarded as follows: grand prize - $300, second place - $200 and third place - $100. The grand prize winner will also receive a trophy to keep until next year’s
